Overview: If a prize were available for the most tolerant plant, snake plant (Sansevieria) would be it. Snake plant care is very straightforward. These plants can be neglected for weeks at a time, yet, with their strappy leaves and architectural shape, they always look fresh. This plant has round, dark green, striped leaves and can grow to 2 to 5 feet. NASA research has shown that snake plants are able to help keep the air inside your home clean, removing toxins throughout your home. Great if you have allergies, recommended for your bedroom for cleaner air. Available 3.5' to 4' ft in height (measuring from the base of the grower's pot to the top of the plant).
The most important thing to remember is to put them in indirect sunlight and don't water them too much, especially during the winter. In fact, it's better to let these plants dry out some between waterings.

Care Information:
Basic Care:
- Sunlight: Requires filtered sun Or can survive low light levels & drought conditions. Rotate often for even exposure.
- Water: Evenly water well once a month. Only water again once the soil has dried. For best results.
- Pets: Snake Plant is toxic. Do not allow pets to ingest the leaves.
- Potting: For best results, repot a Snake Plant into a new planter that has a drainage hole.
Fertilizer:
- A general-purpose fertilizer can be used if the plants are in a pot, and that's about all it will need.
Seasonal Care Changes:
- During the winter months, Snake Plants require less water and don't need to be fertilized.
